ARISS planifie un nouvel événement expérimental populaire parmi ses expériences de télévision à balayage lent (SSTV). Les transmissions doivent commencer le vendredi 8 février à 18h25 UTC et se poursuivre jusqu’au dimanche 10 février à 18h30 UTC. Les transmissions SSTV sont un processus par lequel les images sont envoyées depuis la Station spatiale internationale (ISS) par radioamateur et reçues par les opérateurs de radioamateurs, les auditeurs en ondes courtes et autres passionnés de radio sur Terre, de la même manière que les images partagées sur des téléphones portables via Twitter ou instagram.

L’astronaute français Thomas Pesquet a été sélectionné par l’Agence spatiale européenne pour retourner dans l’espace en 2020, a annoncé mardi 22 janvier la ministre de l’enseignement supérieur Frédérique Vidal, lors de ses vœux à la communauté de l’enseignement supérieur, de la recherche et de l’innovation au muséum national d’histoire naturelle.
Souhaitons que sa mission lui permette de poursuivre son activité amateur… depuis l’ISS ou … la lune ????
