EarthKam : Mission 60. Inscriptions ouvertes

(Earth Knowledge Acquis par Middle school students) est un programme de sensibilisation de la NASA qui permet aux étudiants, aux enseignants et au public d’apprendre sur la Terre à partir de la perspective unique de l’espace. Pendant les missions Sally Ride EarthKAM (périodes pendant lesquelles la caméra Sally Ride EarthKAM est opérationnelle), les élèves du secondaire du monde entier demandent des images de lieux spécifiques sur Terre. La collection complète des images Sally Ride EarthKAM est disponible dans une archive d’images Sally Ride EarthKAM consultable. Cette collection d’images et d’activités d’accompagnement sont des ressources extraordinaires pour engager les étudiants dans les sciences de la Terre et de l’espace, la géographie, les études sociales, les mathématiques, les communications et l’art.

Ce programme est ouvert à l’ensemble des écoles de la planète, avec une cible privilégiée pour les classes du secondaire (niveaux de la 6e à la Terminale en France).

Thomas PESQUET : Rencontre avec les enfants de Trois Palétuviers à Kourou

En mars dernier, les écoliers de Trois Palétuviers, un petit village amerindien sur la frontière franco-brésilienne, ont pu échanger quelques questions avec le spationaute Thomas PESQUET en mission à bord de l’ISS. Celui ci avait répondu favorablement à leur invitation pour venir les rencontrer et découvrir la Guyane où il n’avait jamais mis les pieds.
